India Runway week season 6 in association with Big Boy Toyz just spread it’s glamour in the capital. The opening show named ‘fashion startups of India’ was truly extravagant as the young designers got to showcase their beautiful talent to the audience.
The names of these young designers are Megha & Jigar, Vishala Shree, Ankita & Akshita, Vanica Chhabra, Rahul Kapoor, Bani Pasricha, Fahd Khatri and Sanya Garg. RJ Rocky, RJ Henna & RJ Ashish from Red FM also walked the ramp for Fashion Startups in the opening show.
Apart from these ,other designers also followed….
Overall the show can be said to be a -norms breaking one…as it came out with many surprises.
- When a 16yr old, cancer patient fulfilled her dream of walking the ramp as a model.
- Models wore a ‘pagdi’ when they walked the ramp for Varija Bajaj, symbolising WOMEN POWER.
- Transgender activist, laxmi Narayan Tripathi walked the ramp for a jewellery designer.
- Raper Ish Kaur wore a 15kg lehenga, breaking the norm that a rapper cannot wear ethnic while performing!
